Located in Sheffield, I make pottery, mainly functional tableware that embraces natural variation and individuality.
Everything is handmade, from scratch. Stoneware clay and indiviudal glaze ingredients are bought, everything else is found, dug, blended, mixed and tested. Many of the tools and brushes use are made by me.
all the photos and words on the website are by me. No AI-slop, tedious stock-photos etc. taking control and choosing to do things with intention feels like an act of rebellion these days. resistence is a powerful act.
Artisan, maker, artist?
Are all labels I'm not particualrly comfortable with, but I do make things.
Even the brushes i use for texture and glaze decoration.
